Frequently asked questions
How do I analyze my bank statement in Excel?
Download your transaction list as a CSV file from your bank’s website, then upload it to ARIA. ARIA sorts your spending, computes money in and out on every row, and shows how each figure was calculated.
My statement is a PDF. What can I do?
ARIA does not read PDF files. On your bank’s website, open the account’s transaction list and look for the download button: pick the CSV format and the period you want. Desjardins (AccèsD, from a web browser), RBC and BMO offer this download.
Do I need to give my banking login?
No. ARIA never connects to your bank: it only reads the file you export yourself.
Does my data stay private?
Your Excel files are deleted after 24 hours and are never used to train a model.
Is it free?
Yes, the trial is free with no credit card: 15 analyses included when you sign up.
Try it on your own file.
